PAK BECAK

Unlike in the capital, Jakarta, where becaks (cycle rickshaws) are banned for being a traffic hazard, the becak thrives in the city of Yogyakarta and is considered a Javanese icon. Filmed one late afternoon, this short documentary follows an 81-year-old man who has been working as a becak driver for over 55 years.
